Hi, my name is Van, I'm from Mt. Holly, NJ. I just moved here from Albany, NY. I found better employment in the NJ area. I'm originally from New York City. I grew up on 106th st. between Madison and Park ave., a block away from Central Park. When I was living in NY I used to love walking around Broadway and Times Square. I enjoy going to the museums, art galleries, Broadway shows and concerts. I still continue to do these things from time to time. Since I left NYC and moved up north to Albany, I got into camping. I didn't like it at first because of the bugs and wild animals. Me, being from the city I had a hard time dealing with the woods. I was afraid a bear would pop out of no where and eat my black ass, but I finally got over the fear and now I'm able to enjoy it. I do a lot of fishing, going to the beach, amusement parks and sports like bowling, basketball, softball, and skating. I'm an avid reader as well. I read mystery novels, espionage, law novels (John Grisham, Robert Ludlum, Jackie Collins, John Stanford and Patricia Cromwell. I'm kind of a history enthusiaist too. I read about the Civil War, England's Tudor Family and European history. Another hobby of mines is making jewelery out of plastic string. They call it boondoggling. I make necklaces, braclets, crosses, earrings and chokers. I sell them as a side line. In November, I will be particpating in an arts & crafts show, selling my handmade jewelery.
